Helios is KTR Capital’s proprietary options-market intelligence engine — designed, built, and operated in-house, and running live every trading day. It processes market, options, and macro data in real time and structures dealer positioning and flow dynamics into signals that inform how we trade.
Structure, Not Noise
Most market data describes what already happened. Helios is built to describe the positioning that shapes what happens next — where dealers are exposed, where flow is concentrating, and how the structure of the options market is likely to constrain or accelerate price.
Positioning
Real-time reads of dealer gamma and delta exposure across expirations, resolved into levels that matter intraday.
Flow
Options order-flow and premium dynamics tracked as they arrive — who is paying for what, and where conviction is building.
Regime
A continuous read of the trading day’s character — trend, range, exhaustion, or turn — so strategy selection matches conditions.
How Helios Is Used
The same engine serves three distinct purposes. Being explicit about the boundaries between them is part of how we run the firm.
The Fund
Fund II trades on Helios. The fund receives execution, sizing, discretion, and the strategies that are never productized. This is where the engine’s full depth is deployed.
helios.markets
A public subscription service publishing Helios’ daily market read. Every call is dated, timestamped, and graded in public — independent, ongoing evidence that the engine works. Subscription revenue funds continued R&D, so our research does not depend on management fees.
Institutional Data
Structured Helios data — positioning, flow, and regime series — for quantitative desks and research teams. API access is in preparation; institutional inquiries are welcome now.
Why We Build Rather Than Buy
Off-the-shelf analytics are available to everyone, which is precisely why they carry no edge. Helios exists because we wanted to see the market through instruments no one else was using — and to be able to change them the moment the market changed. Architecture, methodology, and performance are shared with qualified investors during diligence.
